Jimena's workshop is the place where the design and production process takes place. With a decoration that evokes nature, the team has recreated a setting in which the designer can polish her creativity.
Jimena works her collections by hand. The origin of each piece is found in the inspiration it reaches with the elements of nature and which it captures on hand-drawn sketches. In addition, she is responsible for sculpting the first piece of each range in lost wax. Likewise, it uses other materials such as silicone, rubber or metal to develop each prototype before being valid for production.
THE ATELIER
After the opening of the Claudio Coello 58 store in 2017, the firm created a new service, Atelier, a space in which to offer personalized treatment to customers looking for an exclusive shopping experience. This service offers the possibility of making a private appointment with the design team, headed by Jimena Von Knobloch, where special and individual requests are attended to, especially those linked to bridal weddings (headdresses, engagement rings, alliances...), as well as such as high-end jewelry or custom designs.
Within this space there is also the collection of headdresses. A range of products created by inspiration from Eleanor of Aquitaine, Jane Austen, Mata Hari, Jackie Kennedy, Queen Guinevere and other great female references from history and fiction. Icons that have stood out for their style, personality, audacity, talent, intelligence or beauty, and that have served as a reference when shaping these delicate pieces full of details that hide exciting stories and that become works of art. museum worthy.
AUTHOR DESIGN
The Apodemia symbol par excellence is the butterfly, a design that symbolizes the spirit of simplicity, elegance and sophistication of the brand. However, her universe does not end there, since her designs are full of natural references, places and historical figures that have served as inspiration for Jimena Von Knobloch to shape each of her proposals.
