The story of APODEMIA also begins with Jimena, a woman deeply passionate about design. Although she studied Advertising and Public Relations, she always felt a strong connection to the creative world. From a young age, she was inspired by her parents: her mother, an interior designer, and her father, a sculptor. Surrounded by creativity, Jimena created her very first piece — a headpiece crafted from her mother’s fabric scraps and her father’s sculpting materials. That first butterfly marked the beginning of her journey and encouraged her to take part in various fashion initiatives and events, both nationally and internationally.

Passionate about design since childhood, Jimena transformed that initial spark into a creative path that would define her future. Her early creation — a butterfly made from mixed materials — became the symbol of everything that was yet to come.

APODEMIA is not afraid to venture beyond the familiar. It represents an inner journey, a story of growth and self-discovery.
